Isabelle François is a writer, a public speaker, an international expert and a certified coach.  She is a single mom who has never been defined by external circumstances, and always listened to the international voice within! Isabelle has lived and worked in Paris, Brussels, Montreal, Ottawa, Washington, and Moscow.  She has moved dozens of times, speaks several languages, and lives between two continents. She has always embraced new cultures and reached out to people to try understand what made them tick, building bridges to connect them, and overcoming the toughest obstacles such as being once expelled from Russia.

Isabelle loves to venture into unchartered territory. The Universe is the limit. She is independent and resourceful, but also fiercely loyal and committed to others. She has served in government, international organizations, in non-governmental organizations, as well as in academia and think-tanks with a career in international relations. She has volunteered in various nonprofit organizations, and also worked as a consultant to provide policy advice. She led many international teams, developing and realizing various projects bringing people together, and fundraising for causes she felt strongly about. She is highly creative with strong leadership abilities.

Isabelle has authored over fifty publications, and has given many interviews to the press. She got her Ph.D. from Université de Montréal, and always kept a special place for Canada in her heart, but she was born and studied law in France. She has a son who taught her more than she has ever learned from books, and who followed her throughout her travels (thank you Phil!) until he felt the need to settle and decide for himself where was home.
